Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $145,985.00. Base salary ranges from $85,000.00 to $129,948.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information Vincentia High School is a vibrant co-educational, comprehensive; community school located in Jervis Bay on the South Coast of New South Wales. The student population of around 1000 is stable with 16% identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The school has a FOEI of 122. Our vision is for all students to graduate with the knowledge and skills to achieve personal success in their future pathways. Vincentia High School prides itself on delivering a comprehensive innovative curriculum that actively engages all students through challenging learning experiences. We prioritise inclusivity and students are supported by a range of cultural and well-being programs including Clontarf. Personalised programs for students with a range of disabilities can be accessed through Mudjingaal, Gumbari and regular classes. Vincentia High School is an important member of the Bay and Basin Learning Community serving the educational needs of students from our local primary schools of Vincentia, Huskisson, Tomerong, St Georges Basin, Sanctuary Point, Sussex Inlet and Jervis Bay. Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Mathematics 7-10 and approval or willingness to teach Mathematics 11-12.
Ability to work as part of a team to create and adjust effective teaching and learning experiences.
Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote a supportive and positive learning environment.
Ability to use feedback and assessment to support students’ knowledge and understanding.
A commitment to improving educational outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Conditions
The successful applicant may be eligible to receive a one-off recruitment payment of $20,000. (Conditions apply)
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
