The role
You will be reporting to the IT Director and will be responsible for the management of ILG’s Systems Integration function, ensuring ILG’s technology landscape is able to meet the strategic needs of the business and our clients, through better integration . The key responsibilities of the role will include:
• Integration of customer eCommerce / ERP platforms, with ILG’s Warehouse Management system(s)
• Integration of ILG’s applications with other systems and services (e.g. Carrier Management System, CRM, Finance and Marketing platforms)
• Provide 2nd /3rd level support services, to internal users and external customers
• Line management to small team of internal Systems Integration Analysts
• Vendor management and project roadmap planning with external Systems Integration Partner
• Management of Systems Integration budget, including external spend and cost recovery
• Build and maintain partnerships within the business, and develop relationships with key external parties to understand requirements from Systems Integration technology
• Develop and drive ILG technology roadmap, to achieve company strategy
• Supports integration projects throughout the development lifecycle, from discovery, through to implementation and operation
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within area of responsibility (e.g. accelerated time to market for new business systems integration)
• Ensures all interfaces and technical dependencies are documented and maintained
• Contributes towards the technical execution of the company and IT strategy
• Supports the IT Director, as required
What we are looking for
• Good knowledge of Integration methods, communication protocols and best practice
• Systems Integration platform experience, ideally Jitterbit Harmony
• Familiar with message broker technologies, ideally Solace (desirable)
• Familiar with observability and log shipping platforms, ideally Elastic (desirable)
• IT management experience, and or previous experience working as a Systems Integration Analyst, Engineer or Manager
• Knowledge of business processes within 3PL / Logistics sector (desirable)
• Business analysis and problem-solving techniques (desirable)
• Ability to operate at a strategic level, as well as get into the detail as required
• People management and leadership experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work to agreed timelines, and work under pressure
• Excellent project management skills and qualifications (desirable)
• The role requires you to be able to travel to ILG sites as needed in support of business needs, therefore a driving licence and car is essential
