Principal Tech Lead
£100,000-112,000 (+20% bonus & package)
Reading, London / Remote (hybrid)
As a Principal Tech Lead in Digital Network Platforms, you will act as the foremost technical authority and subject matter expert (SME) in transforming our OSS landscape.
Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in software development and system architecture in the Telco OSS domain.
- Strong understanding of telecom industry standards, protocols, and technologies.
- Strong background in all aspects of DevOps, including hands-on experience and best practices.
- Working experience and knowledge of public, private and hybrid cloud providers, technologies and services and also a working understanding of data and application frameworks on cloud.
- Knowledge of product journey management and its alignment to platform development and design.
- Experience with platforms across the OSS landscape across including: Cisco NSO, Itential, Rakuten, Digitata, Netcool and Hyperscaler solutions (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Strategic Thinking:
- Ability to think big and deploy methodologies when necessary.
- Balance between simplicity and complexity, knowing when to navigate between the two.
NICE TO HAVE
- Process Design and Agile Methodologies:
- Expertise in process design methodologies.
- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management.
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ability to drive Agile practices to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Experience with Network Platform Tools:
- Hands-on experience with network platform tools, such as Cisco NSO and Itential IAP.
