Job description

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic social workers to join our teams across Cheshire East, who want to make a difference to the lives of children and their families. Applications are invited from qualified social workers who are registered or awaiting registration with Social Work.

Our Social Workers are essential in supporting Cheshire East's vulnerable children, from pre-birth to age 18. We have teams across Cheshire East where we are able to match families with your expertise and chosen patch, encompassing areas like Crewe, Macclesfield, Knutsford and Holmes Chapel.

We prioritise flexibility, offering various work locations and hotdesking opportunities to facilitate collaboration with safeguarding teams and services and to ensure that we build strong connections.

Relationships at the heart of what we do in Cheshire East and understand the importance of building relationships providing consistent support. Our teams include ASYEs, experienced social workers, family support workers and an Advanced Practitioner, alongside a team manager.

A full driving license and access to a car are essential due to Cheshire East's rural nature.

Pay scales range from grade 8 to grade 10 for this role depending on experience;

Grade 8 - £33,024 - £36,648

Grade 9 - £36,648 - £39,186

Grade 10 - £39,186 - £45,291
