Job description
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be a vital part of our team to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. At Mercian Logistics we work together to achieve results. Mercian is looking for a Warehouse Operative to be based at it's site in Hereford.
The job will involve:
- Ensure customer goods are loaded and unloaded carefully, identifying any damages or missing items
- Ensure deliveries are scanned and put into correct run locations
- Make sure all items are scanned correctly and loaded as per APC load plans
- Follow the agreed procedure for unloading vans each night, signing off correctly, and complete the warehouse sweep to ensure no items left in the warehouse
- Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy at all times
You will have:
- Relevant experience within a similar role, or previous experience of working within a process led environment
- Proven ability to work with minimum of supervision
- Good communication skills
- Good time management and planning skill
An FLT licence is desirable but a training agreement can be agreed to obtain this.
