Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join a successful organisation in Carlisle. The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in managing the organisations' financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Manage a small team of finance professionals.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive financial initiatives.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Monitor and manage cash flow and investments.
- Assist in financial audits and tax preparation.
- Provide financial guidance and support for various company projects.
Qualifications & Requirements: - Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Proven experience in finance or accounting, with managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in financial software and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Hours & Pay: 22.5 hours per week
£17,713 per annum
