CNC Turner- Responsibilities Include:
- Program and operate CNC lathes or turning centers.
- Set up machines, load tools, and align fixtures.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and materials for machining tasks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the machining process.
- Perform quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Propose and implement process improvements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
CNC Turner- Knowledge, Skills and Experience desired:
- Proficiency in turning and setting.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of CNC programming languages- Fanuc.
- Familiarity with various cutting tools, inserts, and materials used in CNC turning.
- Skill in setting up and configuring CNC machines, including tool alignment and fixture installation.
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting machining processes.
- Competence in using precision measuring instruments for quality control inspections.
- Understanding of maintenance and repair tasks for CNC machines.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with regulations in a machining environment.
Schedule- Monday-Friday 42.5 Hours
