Ex-forces Engineer

Aberystwyth

£29,000 - £31,000 + Days Shift Pattern (6:00 - 14:30) + Training + Enhanced Pension + Holidays + Healthcare + Overtime Available

This leading international FMCG company have sites across the UK and customers worldwide. This site is renowned in the area and often receives investment to boost the quality of facilities and machinery. They are looking to add to their valued maintenance team and are willing to invest in the candidate's training.

Responsibilities of this role include reactive maintenance of machines and robotics, as well as keeping up with the planned preventative maintenance schedule.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience carrying out maintenance on machinery whether that be electrically or mechanically based. This experience can come from a variety of backgrounds such as ex-forces (Navy, RAF, REME, Mechanics), marine engineering, or gas engineering.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated candidate to develop their skills and become an expert in their field, with the support of a global production company.

• Days based - 6:00 - 14:30

The Person

• Engineering background (mechanical or electrical)
• Multi-skilled is ideal, electrical bias is advantageous
