**AMAZING QUALIFIED LEVEL 3 SUPPORT WORKER OPPORTUNITY / ROYSTON, HERTFORDSHIRE**
I am recruiting a number of CARING and PASSIONATE Qualified Level 3 Support Workers to join a Residential Service for Young Adults with severe and profound learning difficulties and complex health needs. The service, which is located in Meldreth, Hertfordshire supports young adults between the ages of 18 - 30 years old.
The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.
Job Title: Qualified Level 3 Support Worker
Salary: £24,024 - £24,960 + £1500 Welcome Bonus
Location: Meldreth (SG8 postcode)
Hours: 4-week rota pattern - Ave 40 hrs per week.
Contract Type: Permanent

Essential Qualification: - Level 3 Health and Social Care
As a Qualified Level 3 Support Worker, you will be responsible for the following: - You will be working 1:1 with a resident on each shift.
- You will have the freedom to plan their day in line with their choices and wishes, enabling them to be as independent as possible, seeing them thrive and enjoy making memories
- You will be providing personal care to residents as well as supporting them in a wide range of learning, development, and social activities including arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, shopping trips, and fun social occasions.
- We are looking for proactive individuals who can demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a person-centred approach to supporting our young people.
- Ensuring the safety of the service users.
- Following care plans for each individual.
- Taking service users out into the community.
- Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
- Get involved in helping with the young adult's therapies such as rebound therapy or hydrotherapy in our newly renovated pool.
- We also have sensory gardens, a skills centre, a forestry school and rooms dedicated to art, music and much more.
Successful candidates are expected to exhibit: - Extensive experience and expertise in assisting young adults with complex needs and additional behaviours.

- Capability to adapt to a rotating schedule, including regular weekend shifts. Please note that this entails working every other weekend.
