We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our dynamic finance team and help us shape and manage our organisation’s accounts payable processes.
We’re looking for that unique individual who has solid credentials and a strong track record working within a best-in-class Finance team and who is an experienced practitioner in overseeing and driving top notch accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities
- Take ownership for the accounts payable (AP) function within finance.
- Modernise, recommend and implement improvements to the processes and systems including taking the lead on the ERP implementation for the AP function.
- Manage the payment processes including assessment of current procedures and recommend improvements to modernise.
- Take the lead on implementing the banking platform integration with the ERP solution.
- Assess, recommend and implement employee expenses software and integrate this with the ERP solution.
- Manage the day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting, and recording accounts payables’ data.
- Responsible for ensuring that all payments are accounted for and properly posted onto the accounts payable ledger.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve suppliers’ billing issues.
- Manage our credit cards process and providers.
- Assisting the Finance team with other ad hoc duties.
Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Manager
- Experience of working in a digital / dynamic environment.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Experience of implementing an ERP system.
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets (pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s) and accounting software including Sage and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Innovator and adept at adopting automation tools and techniques.
- Have a flexible and adaptable nature
- Experienced and comfortable working across multiple teams with multiple individuals, overseeing and managing the expectations and demands between the Company and the suppliers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, able to work independently at pace, and to prioritise workload and deliver quality work within required deadlines.
