Live-in Housekeeper

Our client, with a large property in Weybridge, Surrey, is seeking a Live-in Housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their busy family home.
The property is made up of 6 bedrooms, 6 main bathrooms and 4 smaller bathrooms.  The family is made up of 2 adults and 2 children.

Duties include:

• All aspects of general housekeeping – cleaning, tidying, organising
• Laundry and ironing
• Pet care – 1 dog and 3 cats
• Taking out the bins
• Meeting and greeting guests & light service (preparation of drinks etc)
• Running errands
• Shopping for household essentials & cleaning products

Candidate requirements:

• Knowledge of caring for fabrics and surfaces, including marble and cashmere
• Experienced working within private residences working within a similar position
• Forward thinking, hardworking and efficient
• Pet and child friendly (children are aged 1 and 6)
• Driver with own car

There are no other full-time members of staff but there are cleaners who visit a couple of times per week to assist with the hands-on housekeeping duties.

Working days: 5.5 days per week, Monday – Saturday morning
Working hours: 6:30am – 10am, a break in the day and then returning to work from 2pm – 7pm.  Saturdays would be a couple of hours in the morning, approx. 8am – 10am.
Accommodation: self-contained 1 bedroom basement flat with own entrance
Salary: £35,000-£40,000GPA.
