Purchasing Coordinator
Bridgend (Fully Office Based)
Salary – Starting from £28,000
Hours - 07:00 – 16:30 (Mon-Thurs) / 7.30 – 16.00 (Friday) with 60 min break
Permanent Role
Our client based in Bridgend is looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

•Minimum 3 years supply chain experience.
•Previous stock control systems experience.
•Excellent communication skills and highly competent in Microsoft Office especially Outlook, Word, Excel.
•Flexible and able to multi-task with strong organisational skills.
•Be a proactive, self-starter with high energy.
•Raise Supplier NCR’s to monitor and report. Monitor and close cases within 5 days.
•Monthly meeting with 2 of top 10 suppliers.
•Place purchase orders, get 3 quotes. Update Sage and Smartsheet with delivery dates. Work with Transport & Customer support to communicate with customer.
•Set up product codes, new suppliers and ensure all project delivery notes are updated when ordering bespoke components.
•Monitor stock product levels using Netstock management system. Proactively forecast and replenish stock using Netstock.
•Answer inbound calls.
•Hold Suppliers accountable to meeting deadlines & follow up to keep projects on track.
•Manage goods in delivery lead times on all project orders – Update Smartsheet.
•Optimise and reduce stock levels. Liaise with WH team regarding goods in and goods out.
•Respond to internal emails and liaise with suppliers / customers.
•Support with sourcing new suppliers and products.
•Attend and provide supply chain updates at daily project catch-up meeting, NCR’s review meeting (twice a week).
•Proactively research and learn to become a Netstock SME.
