We are seeking a talented and motivatedBusiness Development Representativeto join our dynamic team in Telford UK and drive the growth of ProtoLabs.

What you'll do:

• Utilise various methods, including online research, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking, to generate high-quality leads
• Conduct thorough research to assess the quality and potential of leads, ensuring they align with ProtoLabs target customer profiles. Create, implement and manage a prospecting program using automation software and sequencing (e.g. SalesNav, Meet Alfred, Conversica etc)
• Initiate contact with potential clients via phone, email, and other communication channels to introduce ProtoLabs services and create interest
• Provide potential clients with information about ProtoLabs capabilities and services, offering solutions tailored to their needs
• Keep detailed records of lead interactions and qualification status in the customer relationship management (CRM) system
• Prepare and present regular reports on lead generation and qualification activities

What it takes:

• Previous experience in a BDR, inside sales, or similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and a team player
• Proficiency in CRM and sales management software
• Enthusiasm for technology and manufacturing solutions
• Ability to handle rejection and stay persistent in lead generation efforts

Initial call

Kick-off with an initial screening with one Talent Acquisition Partners, not really an interview, but the chance to learn more about how we do things, our process and a chance for you to ask all the things you want to know

Hiring Manager

A deeper dive into the role, what we're looking for and for you to get to know one another

Take home challenge or presentation

Put your skills to the test. Depending on the role, you may be asked to work on a take-home challenge or a presentation to us. We know this won't show us all of your talents, but we can get a nice insight into how you work and vice versa.

Team Meeting

In most scenarios, you’ll get to meet your teammates or a member of the leadership team. This is a great chance for us to see how you fit into the wider organisation
