Job description
To organise, prepare and assist with specialist clinics e.g., Orthognathic, Skin lists. Prepare medical and orthodontic notes for clinics including obtaining investigation results from computerised systems e.g., MRI and CT scans. Obtaining Orthodontic appliances from the laboratory. Take on responsibility for personal development and support the development and supervision of others by developing and maintaining specialist knowledge.Conduct oneself in a professional manner and be a role model to less experienced and new staff at all times Work proactively to ensure that every patient attendance meets the patients expectations and needs with timely undertaking of procedure and effective communication with relatives, patients and carers. Management of skin assessment/wound management and dressing regimes for clinics run within the department.
