CK Group are recruiting for an experienced Analytical Manager with a strong management background within the pharmaceutical industry, to join a leading UK based pharmaceutical contract manufacturing business on a permanent basis in Nottingham.The Company:

Our client is contract manufacturing and formulation business providing services to the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.

Location:

The role is based at their location in Nottingham, easily commutable from main transport links.

The Role:

Manage the Analytical Laboratory team that provides an analytical testing service to their customers.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other teams (i.e. QA, Operations, Commercial) to ensure customer’s needs are met and on time
• Ensure all testing complies to GLP
• Provide technical support for solving analytical maintenance issues and offer guidance on best strategy for responding to regulatory questions.

Your Background:

• Scientific degree (pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry related) with industry experience in a Pharmaceutical/FMCG environment.
• A sound knowledge of Analytical Chemistry with experience working within a GLP regulated laboratory environment
• Background in analytical testing and experience in an analytical licensed product testing laboratory.
• Proven Team Leader and experience leading a team of 10 plus
