ST HELENA SCHOOL – PROVISION 360
ASSISTANT CENTRE LEAD FOR BESPOKE PROVISION KS4
Pay Range: Local Government Pay Scale 6, Points 13-17
Actual Salary from: £23,605 - £25,271
Start Date: 1st September 2024 or sooner if possible
Provision 360 is our new alternative curriculum offer for Key Stage 4 students from St Helena School and Paxman Academy. Provision 360 is based on the St Helena School Site in a new building that caters for 24 students full time educational needs. The 24 students have been identified as those who will thrive with an alternative curriculum that has a vocational focus that responds to the individual needs and areas of interest.
The Role
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to work with the Head of Provision 360 and the Deputy Centre Lead to establish an educational experience for our young people who have struggled within Key Stage 3 in their base schools. Provision 360 is a new and unique initiative for the students of Paxman Academy and St Helena School. The educational offer will be a combination of a traditional curriculum offer using subject specialists to deliver English, Maths and Science and a bespoke personalised curriculum for the students complimenting their interests and needs.
This post is 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time plus two additional weeks to prepare – this includes non-pupil days). This position will start in September 2024 or sooner if possible and will suit an experienced individual who has a good understanding of inclusive education and/or high-quality alternative provision.
