Role: Chartered Accountant
Part time: 20-24 hours
Location: Derby , DE21 4BD/ some Hybrid work (candidates must live local)

Are you a Chartered Accountant seeking a part-time position which offers balance with your personal commitments? A rare opening has arisen to join the finance team at SOS Wholesale, a leader in FMCG wholesale. This role offers flexible working hours and a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities for this Accountant position:
- Preparation and analysis of Management Accounts
- Conducting Month-End Accounting processes, including P&L and Balance Sheet management
- Handling VAT Returns
- Financial and Statutory Reporting
- Planning and Forecasting
- Cash Monitoring and managing payment/receipt escalations

Desired Experience and Qualifications for this Chartered Accountant role:
- Proficiency in Excel, particularly with Pivot Tables
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or equivalent)
- Strong ability to present data coherently and effectively
- Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Advanced analysis skills in Excel; SAP experience is a plus
- Experience in handling large data sets
- Must live within a close commute to Derby
Confident in communicating with Senior Management
