Job description
To provide high quality nursing care and participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the care needs of this patient group in the varied community setting within the Children's Community Nursing Service. The post holder is expected to provide relevant forms of care without direct supervision and participate in the supervision and teaching of untrained staff and students. The post holder, with awareness of the multiple needs of the patients and their families, will provide skilled children's nursing care and promote the optimum level of independence and the quality of life for all children within the caseload.
