Technical Support Officer
Planning Development
Permanent, 32 hours per week, these hours can be flexible.
Salary NS6 £24,702 - £25,979 pro rata per annum
We are now recruiting for a Technical Support Officer to join us. As part of the role, you will provide technical support services to the Planning team.

The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
• Inputting planning applications and associated enquiries as well as ensuring all relevant information has been provided.
• Providing and advice and guidance regarding the need for planning permission.
• Issuing decisions relating to tree works in conservation areas.
• Administering the appeal process as necessary.
• Inputting orders and raising invoices.
• Responding to enquiries and freedom of information requests.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a planning or building control support environment as well as the ability to interpret maps, plans and technical drawings. You will also have effective communication and customer services skills, be comfortable using a range of ICT software and applications, and work with a high degree of accuracy.
