Job description

Support Worker

Axcis is working in partnership with provisions located in Salford that are seeking to appoint support staff. The roles we have consist of group work and 1:1 mentoring. A background working with SEMH needs would be an advantage. The roles we have are full and part-time. We have hours to suit every candidate. Our positions are ongoing and fixed-term. Some of our roles are available to start immediately. However, some roles will start soon. Axcis is committed to investing in its staff and can provide free courses to help candidates achieve qualifications such as first aid training and Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualifications. The pay will be between £87 – 100 per day.

The successful candidates should
- Have a degree (desirable)
- Experience working with children and young people
- Experience working with challenging behaviours
- Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to get one
