Job description
Shapes Day Nursery are currently looking for enthusiastic and highly driven practitioners to provide excellent care to our children who are aged between 3 months to 5 years.
Our 100 place nursery based in Banstead offers five age appropriate rooms which ensures the children are able to develop within their age range and at their own pace. We also offer a large well equipped garden, smart board and have our very own soft play area.
Responsibilities will include:
• Building excellent relationships with children and parents
• Providing high quality care and a positive learning environment for all children ensuring their needs are met at all times
• Being a key person, ensuring their development is monitored and ensuring activities are planned to progress their learning forward
• Ensuring the children have a safe, stimulating and happy environment at all times
• Working within a team and alongside parents
The ideal candidate will have:
• The ability to work full time up to 42.5 hours per week
• Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
• Previous experience working with children aged 3 months - 5 years old
• Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Be passionate about working with children
