Business Acceptance Analyst

Up to £35,000 + Benefits
BCL Legal are delighted to be working with this Multi Award Winning Mid-Tier Law Firm in Leeds with their search for a Business Acceptance/ On-boarding Analyst. Employing in excess of 190 staff together with a team of 30 Partners, our client prides themselves on delivering an elevated of client care.
Due to the recent creation of the firms Risk and Compliance team, our client is now looking to hire a Business Acceptance Analyst who can add value and really help drive forward the Risk and Compliance Culture within the firm.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of Risk and Compliance your role will include but not be limited to:
·Identify, analyse and resolve any conflicts of interest to stakeholders of the firm.
·You will work in close collaboration with the wider team on all aspects of Anti Money Laundering and Due Diligence in addition to advising on and dealing with client and third party complaints.
·You will also provide advice on adhering with the Solicitors Code of Conduct
·Undertaking all Client Due Diligence (CDD) checks in line with the money laundering regulations;

About you:
To be considered for this role, you will need significant experience of working in a Legal risk & compliance role, preferably within a law firm, with excellent written & verbal communication skills, excellent IT skills, strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and a knowledge of both Data Protection law and Financial Conduct Authority legislation. In addition you will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of AML and be an effective trouble-shooter.
You will have a collaborative approach to work and be able to work as part of a busy and successful team.
