Job description

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a hard-working individual with a Commercial/Quantity Surveying background, to join our client that is based in Sheffield 

Our client is a utility contractor specialising in the water industry and therefore your main duties will include:

  • Carrying out the review of works completed by a supply chain and verify the Supplier applications for the work that has been completed
  • Create payment certificates for verified supplier works and submit for approval to pay
  • Build applications for works completed
  • Analyse payment certificates and verify all works completed have been paid
  • Contractual knowledge to communicate with relevant parties ensure understanding the terms of project/contract
  • Implement commercial processes to ensure contractual entitlements are realised

Successful candidates:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (essential)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within a fast-paced environment
  • Previous Administrative experience (preferably in a QS similar department)
  • Reliable, hard-working and enthusiastic
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen

Working Hours and Other Information:

You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8am until 4:30pm with a half an hour unpaid break.

The salary for this role is up to £28,000, depending on relevant experience.

The role is being offered on a Temporary with the view to go Permanent.
