Job description
As an SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing dedicated support to a specific student with unique learning requirements. Working closely with the classroom teacher and other professionals, you will contribute to creating and implementing a personalised learning plan tailored to the student's needs.

Position: SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Rochford
Salary Scale: £75-£100
Contract Type: Full-time Responsibilities: - As a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will provide one-to-one support to a specific student with SEN.
- Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans.
- As a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support the student effectively.
- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the student to promote their well-being and engagement.
- As a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will monitor and track the student's progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as the Special Education Coordinator, to ensure a holistic support system.
Qualifications and Skills: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
- Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
