We are looking for SCP’s to undertake duty roles on a Monday to Friday
Work Experience and Vocational Training
Essential:
Relevant experience of working with older people, people with physical disabilities, adults with learning disabilities and sensory impairment and their carers and/or related work.
Ability to work in a person-centred way, respecting and valuing all.
Essential:
Evidence of interest and aptitude for work with older people, people with physical disabilities, adults with learning disabilities and sensory impairment and their carers and/or related work
Desirable:
Informal carer experience, so have an understanding of the issues that can arise for people with caring responsibilities.
Experience of working in a health setting
Specialist Knowledge
Essential:
Demonstrate an understanding of the needs of older people, people with physical disabilities, adults with learning disabilities and sensory impairment and their carers
Desirable:
Knowledge of the 2014 Care Act
Knowledge of self-directed care, personal budgets, reablement
Knowledge of hospital discharge processes
Experience and knowledge of work using a homecare reablement model.
