Our Major Injury and Casualty team at DWF and are currently hiring for a Paralegal.

The Major Injury and Casualty team act for a large number of insurers, many of whom are household names, dealing with complex, catastrophic and large loss claims. The team deal with a range of files including Employers Liability (EL) / Public Liability (PL) matters.

The role will involve handling a range of insurance claims, both international and domestic.

• To action cases in line with the department's and client's service standards and protocols
• To act as a trusted member within the team, taking responsibility and ensuring the case management system is kept up to date with court orders, reviewing confidential records, and liaising with clients
• Dealing with technical aspects of the cases, under the supervision of more senior team members
• Progression cases to a satisfactory and speedy settlement in accordance with the client requirements

We are seeking applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate a real interest in employer's liability, public liability and catastrophic injury work, and who will have gained experience of handling higher value defendant personal injury files. We are seeking a team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
