Job description
Gi Group have partnered up with a logistics company based in Slough who are looking for an experienced administrator to join their team on a temp to perm basis.
To provide administrative management in support of the daily operational activities of the warehouses in accordance with agreed business plans, to maintain & enhance service provision.
Pay - £12.60 per hour (weekly pay)
Hours - Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Location - Slough

Responsibilities
- Identification of required products, materials, or services in compliance with the company procurement process (COSHH) & procurement of the same.
- Administration of the company purchase order system.
- Monitoring & transmission of temporary labour time sheets.
- Assisting in the identification of service providers and maintenance of company preferred supplier list.
- Application of the relevant induction programme for all recruits.
- Absence - administration of recording systems; ensuring expeditious & accurate recording in the relevant databases.
- Administration of all files ensuring GDPR compliance, ensuring currency & accuracy of data.
- Prepare and assist in the collection of data for periodic reports & any key performance indicators as may be required by the company and/or customers.
- Communicate effectively with the senior management, informing and updating them regularly on performance issues
- Support and assist senior management in ensuring the safe and efficient day-to-day running of the operations.
- Communicate with other departments, divisions, customers, and suppliers, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive relations, support, and activities.
- Provide administrative support to all areas of the business as directed by the administration supervisor.
- Adhere to quality standards, systems and processes established internally & in conjunction with the customer, contained within the company's management system.
- Follow the direction of senior management with regards to performance within the Inbound facility.
- Follow all training & instruction programmes to develop personal skills and knowledge necessary for the effective safe performance of the role.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, customers & suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to internally and externally relevant health and safety laws and policies.
