Immigration and Compliance Manager – Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Location: Westgate Healthcare Head Office, Unit 3, Devonshire Business Park, Chester Road, Borehamwood, WD6 1NA
Salary: £50k-£55k (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Job @type: Full time, permanent
Annual leave: 25 days, plus bank holidays
We are looking for an Immigration and Compliance Manager who is hands on, pro-active, highly organised, has excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to successfully implement and manage effective processes, checks and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and Home Office requirements in relation to staff recruitment and ongoing staff management.
Applicants should have experience in leading on immigration and regulatory compliance matters, ideally in the healthcare sector. Westgate Healthcare holds several ‘A rated’ sponsorship licenses with the Home Office, and we largely sponsor staff in healthcare roles such as Nurses, Senior Healthcare Assistants and Care Assistants. The role of the Immigration and Compliance Manager will be heavily focussed on managing our sponsor licenses and migrant workers to ensure full compliance with Home Office requirements.
The ideal candidate will also have some HR generalist and recruitment experience. Applicants should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be computer literate with experience in using all Microsoft Office programmes.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, multi-task, manage a large workload in a fast-paced environment, and someone who has excellent interpersonal skills.
Westgate Healthcare is a family run, award winning care home provider. We currently have 8 care homes across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and East London, with plans to open more in the coming years. All of our care homes are currently rated as ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ by our regulator, the CQC.
