Working pattern: Non specific; hours offered in accordance with exam schedule
Actual starting pay rate:£11.50 per hour
We are seeking to recruit exam invigilators to work with our existing team, to facilitate the smooth running of the secondary public and internal examinations here at The Burgess Hill Academy.
The post would be ideally suited to applicants who feel a sense of responsibility for today's young people and who are able to work flexible daytime hours.
Lead by our experienced Exams Officer, you will need to be able to:-
Understand and apply detailed written instructions, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Concentrate and work quickly under pressure
Maintain confidentiality
Use initiative in response to unexpected situations
Be aware and committed to equal opportunities and diversity
Key responsibilities including checking the exam environment before, during and after a session, including efficient and proper management of post exam duties, checking exam papers remain in the hall and monitor the behaviour of students during the exam.
