About Our Client

My client is a multinational manufacturing business with a multi billion dollar turnover, head quartered in the US.

Job Description

Month-end close and reporting:
* Production of timely and accurate monthly trial balance / management accounts and associated financial reports
* Preparation and review of general ledger journal entries including accrued/deferred income, prepayments, accruals, inventory, provisions and allocations
* Preparation and review of intercompany reconciliations
* Timely preparation, review and filing of monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Participate in Quarterly Accounting (balance sheet) Reviews and other business reviews

Finance business partner:
* Support the divisional business leader and key operational team members
* Maintenance of rolling 15 month financial forecast
* Use the ERP system and other financial systems to report monthly performance data and variance analysis
* Provide analysis of key programs, revenue streams and associated costs

Financial Accounting:

* Liaison and communication with UK, Europe and USA
* Support compliance with SOX and local requirements
* Support various local and Group reporting requirements
* Provide information for both internal and external auditors

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will need:

• To be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• US GAAP accounting experience
• Worked with "LN" or "SUN" or another ERP system
• Large data handling experience in a fast paced environment
