Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Financial Analyst to join an internationally renowned property and services business in Leeds City Centre. With ambitious expansion plans to move into further international territories in the coming year the team is looking to add in another Financial Analyst to with forecasting, budgeting and reporting.

Reporting into the Financial Analyst Manager, key duties of the Financial Analyst will include:

• Support the development and ongoing production of Operational KPI reporting, ensuring reporting is timely and accurate, developing the reports in-line with operational requirements.
• Ongoing analysis of any potential changes within the operating model. Supporting operational owners with analysis of risks and opportunities.
• Develop business partnering relationships with key stakeholders.
• Work independently on analysis to drive improvements and support on projects as required.
• Take the lead, develop independent thought, and make suggestions for cost savings on relevant areas of responsibility.
• Help facilitate short term and longer-term forecast processes within the finance team.
• Support on the annual budgeting processes - leading specific areas.
• Utilisation of MIS tools.
• Being part of a best-in-class commercial finance team. Ensuring best practice is adhered to and helping drive an agenda of continual improvement.

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates with the following:

Previous experience of working within a commercial role ideally in FP&A

Studying towards professional accountancy qualifications

Strong excel/analytic/presentation skills

Confident communicator

Career orientated

In return, the successful candidate will receive the following:

£32,000 - £35,000 base salary
