We are looking to appoint one catering assistant to assist with the delivery of an outstanding professional catering service for the Oak Partnership Trust. They will support the Kitchen Manager and Assistant Kitchen Manager with the preparation and service of food and beverages to all trust schools. They will work alongside our existing staff both at West Monkton Primary School and onsite at our other schools.The Oak Partnership Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and all staff/volunteers must share this commitment.

Are you passionate about delivering highquality nutritious meals to students Do you thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment We are seeking an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in providing excellent food services across local schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the health and wellbeing of students and to be part of a supportive and dedicated team.

Your New Role

As a Catering Assistant you will play a key role in the preparation and delivery of daily school meals. You will support the kitchen team in various duties ensuring that food is prepared cooked and presented to high standards and that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals.
• Helping to serve food to students staff and visitors.
• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Supporting stock control and inventory management.
• Engaging positively with students and staff.
• The post will require driving the Trust vehicle daily.

We are seeking a candidate who is:

• Passionate about providing highquality food service.
• Able to work well as part of a team and under pressure.
• Responsive and adaptable to the fastpaced school environment.
• Knowledgeable about food hygiene and safety regulations (training will be provided).

Key Requirements:

• No formal qualifications necessary; however experience in catering or hospitality would be beneficial.
• Willingness to undergo food hygiene and safety training.
• A positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Full UK driving licences is essential.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

Salary start date

Job Type: Parttime Term time Only

Salary: Grade 16 Point
