Job description
What you will do in your working day
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Administration:
- Learn to manage and track customer interactions, leads, opportunities, and sales data using CRM software
- Understand the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to after-sales support
- Familiarise yourself with the order processing system, including creating quotes
- Sales reports and analyse data to make informed decisions
Service Coordination:
- Gain an understanding of handling and prioritising service requests from customers
- Learn to efficiently schedule and dispatch service technicians based on their skills and availability
- Familiarise yourself with service agreements and maintenance contracts
- Learn to create and maintain service records, work orders, service reports, and follow-up actions
Installation Coordination:
- Understand the process of planning and coordinating installations, including resource allocation and timelines
- Learn effective communication with customers, installation teams, and stakeholders during the installation process
- Familiarise yourself with quality assurance procedures to ensure installations meet company standards
Accounts:
- Learn to manage accounts payable (vendor payments) and accounts receivable (customer payments)
- Familiarise yourself with financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Procurement and Stores:
- Learn to track and manage inventory levels, reorder points
- Understand how to establish and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Familiarise yourself with the process of creating and managing purchase orders for procuring goods and services
The training you will be getting
You will be studying Customer Service Level 2/3 and training will be delivered remotely via Skills for Security. Duration of the apprenticeship will vary between 12-15 months depending on the level.
As part of the rotation, you will undergo comprehensive on-the-job training, including:
- Understanding company policies and procedures
- Job shadowing and mentorship by experienced professionals
- Participation in relevant training workshops and courses
- Access to online resources for continuous learning
- Encouragement to ask questions, seek feedback, and learn through hands-on experience
