Job Description
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the function and viability of all facility equipment, fixtures, and structures. Must ensure efficient services are performed in a safe and secure working environment.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the cleanness of the facility, internally and externally.
• Ensure all facility equipment is operating properly and efficiently.
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining spare parts storage area.
• Accountable for accurate lists of equipment, parts, and tools.
• Responsible for accurate reporting and detailed logs of repairs and routine maintenance.
• Must complete daily preventive maintenance checklist and provide reports to Management.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as maintenance technician, or similar job duties
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Outstanding Verbal & Written Communication Skills
• Ability to multi-task with minimal errors
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within necessary time constraints
• Must be a team player and work well under minimal supervision
• Knowledge of safe work practices
• Available to work variable shift assignments and overtime as necessary
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid equipment operator’s permit/license, or eligible to receive permit/license within 6 months of hire
PREFERRED
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
