Senior accountant

We are delighted to be partnering with manufacturing business based in Manchester in the appointment of an accountant.

The business is seeking to appoint a dynamic and driven senior accountant on an upward trajectory in the career. You will be part of a growing finance team, key to producing key financial information, whilst supporting the Finance manager.

Duties:

• Process all monthly management accounting to trail balance and reconcile balance sheet
• Yearly budget / forecasting and margin analysis accurate
• R&D monitoring and other finance regulatory / statutory requirements
• Raising sales invoices and monitoring ERP systems
• Fixed asset and stock register
• Payroll
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
• Credit control/ debt chasing.

YOU:

• ACCA part qualified / finalist / AAT qualified
• Proven experience producing management accounts.
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Excellent to detail
• Excellent knowledge of MS office - Excel
