Job Title: Parts Advisor - Car Dealership

Location: Portadown, BT62 3RB

Salary: Basic Salary between £25,000-£27,500 (depending on experience) + annual bonus of up to £4,800

Full Time and Permanent – Monday – Friday 8.30am -5.30pm and alternate Saturdays (9 am – 1pm)

Our client is one of the largest and fastest-growing motor retailers. They represent major global franchises from various locations in Northern Ireland.

They are now actively looking to recruit a Parts Advisor for their Car Dealership in Portadown.

THE ROLE

As a Parts Advisor, you will provide excellent service to our clients internal and external customers on a daily basis and in a timely manner.

The role involves:

* Selling parts to internal & external customers to achieve to the agreed targets.

* Optimising sales opportunities.

* Order-taking via the telephone, email, and face-to-face.

* Order picking.

* Carrying out daily / weekly stock checking.

* Systematically arranging the parts in the stock room.

* Assisting with the pre-picking of parts for the service workshop team.

* Delivering parts to trade customers.

THE PERSON

* The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and have a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

* It is essential for the successful candidate to have a valid clean driving license as you may on occasion be required to deliver parts to our customers.

* Preference will be given to applicants with 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role within the motor industry. We may however consider applicants with previous customer-facing experience from other industries who have knowledge / an interest in vehicle layout, function, and location of required parts for service and common repairs.

* Preference will be given to those applicants with a valid forklift license.
