MWS/Caledonia Water Alliance is currently looking to recruit a Reinstatement Supervisor to work on our Scottish Water contract (Pan Scotland).
As the Reinstatement Supervisor you will be part of our Operations Team, who are responsible for the rehabilitation of clean water mains and sewers throughout Scotland.
Caledonia Water Alliance (a partnership between AECOM and Morrison Water Services) will support the delivery of the SR21 Scottish Water Capital Investment Programme, a six-year water and wastewater infrastructure pan Scotland programme.
As the Reinstatement Supervisor your duties & responsibilities will be:
- Report to Reinstatement Contracts Manager as required
- Ensure good forward planning of workload for all internal reinstatement teams
- Daily Supervision/management of workload for grab lorries and operators
- Daily Supervision/management of workload for tar squad
- Operate within the requirements of our project teams, liaising with Site Management and Construction Managers on a regular basis
- Ensure all plant compliance checks and driver checks are carried out timeously
- Ensure all bulk materials required for reinstatement teams are ordered timeously
- Supervision/auditing of sub-contractor reinstatement teams as required
- Ensure reinstatement teams are utilising digital Quality Assurance platforms for all work
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- Excellent understanding of Street work requirements
- Understanding of Site Health & Safety
- Appropriate level of IT skills
- High level of written and oral communication and influencing skills (to communicate at all levels both within and out with the business)
- Ability to build relationships and deal with people from all backgrounds and situations
- Current full driving licence and the willingness to travel throughout Scotland
- New Roads and Street Works qualification – required, training can be given
- SSSTS qualification – training can be given

- You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
