Your new role.
You will be required to undertake teaching responsibilities in line with the school day and plan accordingly for your class (s) in line with curriculum expectations. You will need to make strong bonds quickly, and you must be able to engage students in a creative and initiative framework. Having good personal and professional standards is also required, alongside a willingness to engage with the school calendar as appropriate. You will need to be enthusiastic and energetic in connection with the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 framework and adapt your lessons to pupil attainment level. You will also be required to track and monitor progress as required by your new school. You will help to creat a pool of consistent teachers in the last academic term who create consistency and normality for pupils in your class. This has proven better for staff and pupils in terms of helping them in their academic achievements. This can be an excellent way for you to build confidence and experience different SEND / SEMH needs, behavioural management techniques, and help Hays create a pool of good quality teaching in local schools in the run up to the new academic year.
What you\'ll need to succeed.
- QTS status.
- A working knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- A fun and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Ability to develop good working practices with staff and students.
- Be able to provide a placement and University reference.
- DBS on update service preferred.
