Teaching Assistant Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term-time only (Part time may be considered) Working day – 8.15am – 3.45pm Salary: SP3 £17,171 - £17,580 part-time (£21,920 - £22,442 full-time) “OUTSTANDING in all areas” – Ofsted 2017 & 2023 We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to join this highly successful school. We are looking for an efficient, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills to provide support for pupils, the teacher and school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils. You will be approachable, calm, caring but firm. Previous experience of working with teachers and supporting students is desirable although not essential. A high standard of literacy and numeracy is essential for this post, as is the enthusiasm to help raise the achievement of students. IT skills are essential. Guildford County School is the most oversubscribed school in Surrey and enjoys an excellent reputation in the local community.
