Catch22 College

Catch22 College (formerly Catch22 Study Programme) supports young people to gain the skills required to progress into apprenticeship training, employment or further education. You can find out more our college  on our website , as well as more about our programmes .

Our Catch22 College is the collective name for 6 sites we have across the country delivering academic and vocational training programmes for young people aged 16+ who, for whatever reason, are not suited to a mainstream college setting.

Our Maidstone College Site provides students with a highly supportive environment, where they have access to opportunities to build up their confidence and self-belief, and to gain new skills and experiences, that will help them to achieve their goals in life. We exist to help our students find their future .

Job Description



We are looking for an IT Teacher who can create an inspirational learning environment, with high expectations of learner achievement, success, and progression, respecting individual differences in culture and background, and reflecting this in the environment of the classroom.

You'll oversee and co-ordinate the development of your subject area, and prepare and deliver ICT

qualifications

, from Entry Level to Level 2, that are informed by relevant, and up to date, subject and curriculum knowledge, as required by the curriculum/timetable.

All teachers at the college are responsible for role modelling inclusive learning and the recognition and celebration of diversity. You'll also be resonsoble for maintaining good order and discipline among the students, safeguarding their wellbeing.

Salary:  £24,961-£35,360 full-time equivalent, depending on experience. £10,119.32-£14,335.14  pro rata 
Hours of work: Part time, 15 hours per week, Thursdays and Fridays
Contract: Permanent
