We’re seeking an analytical and data savvy individual to join our in-house communications team as a Business & Data Analyst.
Your role will be to analyse qualitative and quantitative data sourced from various channels such as digital platforms, surveys, and data systems. You'll transform this data into meaningful reports, identifying themes, and offering valuable insights tailored to the needs of the communications and events department.
Strong analytical skills, experience of complex data management, systems experience (excel, databases) and great attention to detail and organisational skills are key to being successful within this role.
What you’ll be doing: - You'll act as the data and analytics expert within a cross-functional team comprising corporate communications and events specialists.
- Deliver qualitative and analyses, proactively extract insights and trends to aid the team and broader business in addressing critical business questions.
- Collate data from diverse channels to deliver insights and track KPIs for communication and events activities.
- Design and prepare regular reports showcasing performance, including heatmaps illustrating past and projected communication activities for key audiences.
- Identify and communicate trends through 'like-for-like' reporting and analysis.
- Spearhead multiple data projects and manage information to enable accurate targeting/distribution for audience segments.
- Review existing data and reporting processes, providing recommendations for improvements.

Who we’re looking for: - We're looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset and experience in qualitative & quantitative data analysis.
- Good working knowledge of digital analytics (e.g. Poppulo and Sharepoint) or willingness to quickly develop skills in these areas.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel, with the ability to produce meaningful reports.
- Experience in data management.
- Effective communication skills across all levels, capable of articulating data requirements to experts and translating them into accessible terms.
- Methodical and logical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Basic knowledge of Power BI would be advantageous but not mandatory.
