Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Up to £45,000 (Depending on Experience)
Location: Cockermouth (Hybrid Working Available)
Hours of work:
Mon/Thur - 8:45am-17:00pm
Fri - 8:45 - 12:45pm/15:30pm (Alternating Fridays)
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Understanding of Products within Commodity
- Posses Strong Team Working Skills
- Posses Strong Organisational Skills and Attention to Detail
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong Numerical Capabilities
- Experience in Sourcing-Buying
- Strong Negotiation Skills
- CIPS Accredited Level 4 or 5
- GCSE Level 4 or Above in Maths and English
- Driver's License
- IT Proficiency in Microsoft Packages
- Experience Working in Procurement in the Rubber/Plastics Industry
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Experience in Aspects of Project Management
- Experience with Infor Systems
Role information:
- Prepare Annual Commodity Line Strategy to Support Business Objectives
- Assist and Support Product Management in Negotiation and Supplier Selection
- Provide a Commercially Focussed Procurement Service through Effective Liaising with Internal and External Stakeholders
- Manage Stock Levels for Inventory Items
- Handle Issues with Suppliers in a Manner that Doesn't Compromise Business Relations
- Ensure both the Compliance and Implementation of Group Supply Agreements
- Provide Budgeting and Cost Forecasts within Commodity
