Position Summary
The Worldwide Account Management Associate Director will be a key role partnering with markets to deliver on the cross-functional ‘One-BMS’ standard for account management and instill enterprise excellence in this capability. This role will drive coordination, collaboration, and transparency between the in market Commercial, Medical and Access teams working within shared accounts encouraging dynamic account-centric interactions - ultimately delivering on a core intent of the New Commercialization Model, enhanced external customer engagement and focus.

Key Responsibilities
Under the leadership of the WW Account Management Director, this role will contribute to and implement Account Management as a core capability across BMS Commercialization.
Drives partnership across market, functional leaders and stakeholders to embed Account Management as a core capability and define associated organizational needs across markets.
Define / create critical connection points with in-market matrix partners (Strategy & Operations, Medical, BI&A, Commercial, Clinical Trials, IT, business, legal, medical, regulatory (MLR), compliance and others) to drive development of shared strategies, action plans and & execution / performance metrics.
Interfaces with various in-market home office and field teams and local S&O across markets to understand their business needs and deliver relevant expertise in Account Management
Partners with markets to develop and track the attainment of key performance indications (KPIs) for Account Management
Mobilizes change management within the markets organization (Strategy & Operations, Training, IT, commercial operations, and other matrix partners) in the implementation, utilization, measurement and maintenance of solutions (including people, process and technology)
Leading in-market continuous improvements with Account Management capability
Drives the in-market identification of current state pain points and opportunities for improvements, defines and documents business requirements, identifies potential solutions, including external vendor evaluation and selection (as needed)
Contributes to a Global Roadmap for Account Management and enabling the development and rollout of Account Management across geographies and functions.
Maintains a high degree of industry intelligence on Account Management trends and solutions, bringing that knowledge back in house to further inform the central capability.
Continuously champions an innovation and growth mindset that seeks to identify and leverage new approaches and solutions to achieve the vision.
Responsible for guiding the implementation of Account Management strategies and pull through.
Champions agile ways of Operating across all processes and technologies to simplify the operating model and expedite time-to-solution.
Expected travel approximately 10%

Qualifications & Experience
Candidate should possess 5+ years focused on pharma Field engagement, Strategy & Operations, business insights/analytics, Field Force Effectiveness.
Experience interfacing with different levels of organizations within BMS and customers externally
Proven track record of collaboration across multiple teams to prioritize varying business objectives and drive action to meet business requirements; recognized as an SME with credibility in conflict management and expectation management.
Proven track record of planning, prioritizing, and driving new and evolving capabilities within a complex organization.
Optimizing output through effective project management and internal negotiation skills to drive decisions and manage expectations.
Prioritize a wide range of execution tactics with an understanding of the big picture and inter-dependencies across processes and systems.
Provide architectural, solution and oversight for multiple projects at a time, including sharing expertise on standards, guidelines, and design patterns for Veeva, based on industry best practices.
A proven track record of leading and working with complex, multidisciplinary talent teams in new endeavors and delivering solutions.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred.
Experience working with commercial and medical/R&D business partners preferred.
Degree: BA/BSc required
