Job description
Sustainable luxury womenswear designer Dragana Perisic is looking for a full or part-time Intern with a good eye for pattern-cutting to work at the Shoreditch-based studio for 3-6 months.
Responsibilities include:
- Copy, cut and adjust the patterns for new designs
- Sew toiles for new designs
- Keep the studio and shop organised and clean
- Connect with a production places
- Working on technical drawings, specifications and hand drawings when needed
- Hand sewing
- Creative window displays
- Jewellery and small accessory making
- Specific projects for collaborations
- Fabric sourcing
- Assist with client fittings
Requirements:
- Good understanding of the design process, from inspiration to the final product.
- Strong interest in the production side of the business, e.g. cutting, pattern cutting or sewing
- Punctual and reliable.
- Great listening and concentration skills
- Hardworking, enthusiastic and serious about learning.
