Technical Advisors (Renewables) - Belper, Derbyshire (On-site)

Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with UK's leading manufacturers of boilers, heat pumps & heating systems and they are looking to recruit a Technical Advisor (Renewables ) at their Belper headquarters to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Please note the below Technical Advisor role will be based on-site so you would need to live in Belper/Derby or the surrounding areas and be able to easily commute to this location. This is not a remote position.

About The Technical Advisor (Renewables) Role

Working as part of a small team within the Service Technical Department, this key position will involve providing technical advice to external Gas Safe Registered Engineers and End Users.

Hours: 39.5 hours per week - Rotas are advised 4 weeks advance

Mon-Fri (between the hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm) and 1 in every 3 Saturdays (9:00am-12:00pm)

What duties would you be doing within the Technical Advisor (Renewables) role?

• Providing service and technical support for the Renewable and Commercial department.
• Engage with customers to better understand how they can be supported through the purchase / installation processes.
• A key part of the role is to give advice by telephone with clarity and diplomacy demonstrating a good technical aptitude.
• Understand customer requirements and show excellent customer service.

What will you bring to the Technical Advisor (Renewables) role?

The successful individual will be able to demonstrate a passion for providing excellent customer service and demonstrate the ability to interpret technical information and instructions.

• You will be able to give technical spares advice with clarity and confidence and have the ability & drive to self-learn.
• Demonstrate the drive to deliver world class service to customers at every opportunity.
• You will enjoy working in a target driven environment and work hard towards achieving your KPIs.
• At least 1 year's previous experience within a technical or similar role is essential.
• Previous customer service experience is essential.
• You will be computer literate, with the ability to use all Microsoft applications, and show a good understanding of Salesforce.
• You will have a flexible approach to working hours and excellent communication skills.

Where is the Technical Advisor (Renewables) role based?

Our client is based in Belper, so if you live in Belper and the surrounding areas, that's great and should be an easy short commute. If you drive, free on-site parking is available. If you don't drive, there are bus stops within a 5-10-minute walk to the site, and 20-minute walk from Belper Train Station.
