Banana Moon Day Nurseries is excited to announce that we are now recruiting for an Early Years Support Officer in the Aberdeen area. This role is a diverse and exciting role that will involve providing support to franchisees and nurseries across the UK. As an Early Years Support Officer you will deliver and promote the Banana Moon Day Nursery Limited brand values, supporting a group of nurseries to ensure that the quality of care and education being offered at each individual nursery is to a high and consistent standard.

Role and responsibilities:

• To monitor statutory requirements and the compliance of regulatory inspection frameworks for a group of nurseries in the Banana Moon Network.
• To promote and instil the Banana Moon Day Nursery brand, mission, and values. 
• Provide support to franchisees to ensure high standards and quality environments for learning, development, and care for children in accordance with the Banana Moon Curriculum and Government Legislation.
• Use your own professional knowledge to support franchisees and nursery managers to overcome everyday challenges independently.
• Provide nurseries with onsite, virtual, and telephone support.
• Review the networks compliance with the Banana Moon Operational Plan. 
• Deliver internal face to face and virtual workshops & training programmes to the network to a consistent high standard.
• Maintain visit records, audit reports, or sufficient other records to be sent to the franchisees.
• Analyse common themes and work with the Early Years Team to implement effective strategies to support improvement. 
• Support new nursery projects as and when required. 
• Support with regulatory inspections within the network. 

Requirements

• A minimum of three year's experience in an early years management role, with multi site experience.
• Hold a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Development.
• Thorough knowledge of the National Standard for Early Education and Care.
• Detailed knowledge of Realising the Ambition and the Curriculum for Excellence.
• Experience of the registration and inspection process through the Care Inspectorate.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Passionate about providing high quality care for children.
• Full UK Driving Licence

Banana Moon Day Nursery have identified this role as one which will require an application to the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) and a registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as this role will bring you into direct contact with children on a regular basis.
