To provide facility engineering support for both current and new model introduction & production, whilst managing key tasks as described below within the department.
Creation of specifications for new and modified facilities
- Facility Development from concept stage, through installation, commissioning and to production launch.
- Machine safety: Facility Risk Assessment, Safety Matrix, Safety Performance Levels, Specify Safety Devices, Essential Health & Safety Requirements (EHSR’s), CE file and Technical file.
- Electrical design of control systems and facilities including safety circuits.
- PLC & Robotics knowledge Omron/Siemens/Fanuc
- Specification writing to support New Machine and Shop Floor Modifications.
- Project Management – planning & execution of facility projects
- Budget Management – demonstrating cost analysis, cost reduction & regular budget control.
- Provide technical advice and support to Maintenance and Production departments.
- Specify, manage and control sub-contractor works.
- Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Able to work autonomously, with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
• Strong communication & negotiation skills.
• Cross functional teamwork skills.
• Computer skills, with a good working knowledge of MS Office.
• Self-motivated team player with a flexible approach
