The main purpose of the Commercial Senior Solicitor role is to support Legal Services in maximising the extent to which communities are protected from harm by providing a professional, independent, accessible, timely and cost-effective legal service to the Chief Constable, Chief Officers and the members of the wider workforce where required: 

• The role will include advising and drafting on various commercial agreements, from public procurement contracts, to collaboration agreements.
• Broad commercial experience and/or previous experience of working within a police force or other public sector is desirable.
• The Commercial Senior Solicitor role is a hybrid role
• Full time position
• Permanent
