HGV Class 1 Driver
Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a temporary opportunity in the driving industry? Join our client, a reputable company in Cannock, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport goods and products from one location to another, ensuring timely deliveries
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety issues immediately
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
- Communicate effectively with the warehouse team, providing updates on delivery schedules and any issues encountered
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 driving license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver
- Good knowledge of Cannock's road network and surrounding areas
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the driving industry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime when required
