Process and Validation Coordinator
- Bakkavor Pizza Harrow
- Monday-Friday 8.30-5.00 (hours and days can be flexed for the right candidate)
- Permanent
- £25,000-£27,000 per year depending on experience

We have an exciting opportunity for a Process and Validation Coordinator join our Bakkavor Pizza site based in Harrow. The site specialises in making chilled pizzas and being situated in North London, good public transport links are available. Reporting directly into the Process Manager, you will ensure the cooking and validation legal details of our products, ensure the correct annual process validations are in place, support our Process team in peak periods and in times of leave and will offer administration support to the Process and Technical Departments.Key Accountabilities:

- Food safety validations
- Delivery of customer cooking instruction generation and validations in association with HACCP principles in line with project delivery and customer requirements.
- Annual Process and Equipment validation
- Lead and manages site annual process validation and validation equipment maintenance.
- Process Kitchen Management
- lead and manages Process kitchen daily upkeep & maintenance and have a clear kitchen schedule.
- Coordinating Sample Collection
- Collection & retention of trial samples in line with the business requirements
- Assisting with process and operational visits
- Awareness of upcoming visits and manages catering requirements
- Assisting with launch preparation
- Documentation management and control, support process team task e.g. organoleptic analysis, transit trials, shelf-life / microbiological and nutritional results ahead of launch.
- Compliance
- Awareness of compliance requirements, monitoring of process and factory areas.
- Health and Safety
- To operate in a safe working manner and support the site/business on continuous improvement relating to health, safety and the environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Basic IT skills in Excel and Word
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and carry responsibility
- Self motivated
- Problem solving skills
- Flexible approach to work and professional at all times
